NPLQ Course
The course requires that you complete 40 hours and as such it is required for you to have 100% attendance.
Each day will be a mixture of wet and dry sessions, both around the Sandford Parks Lido complex and in the classroom, please bring appropriate clothing for both swimming and dry side activities and in case of wet weather.
YOU MUST BE 16 YEARS OLD OR OVER TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE.
Prerequisites
- Jump / dive into deep water
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool
- Climb out unaided without ladder / steps and where the pool design permits
Lunch and Refreshments
Please bring your own lunch. There is an on-site cafe, but the waiting times could be long during the school holidays.
